Geoffrey P. Schwartz, M.D. – Glaucoma & Laser Surgery
Geoffrey P. Schwartz, M.D. is a graduate of Bowdoin College, Columbia University, and Jefferson Medical College. He completed his internship at Saint Vincent’s Hospital in New York City, his residency in Ophthalmology at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, and his glaucoma fellowship at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He has published several book chapters on glaucoma, as well as multiple articles on Ophthalmology in peer-reviewed Journals.
Dr. Schwartz is a member of the American Board of Ophthalmology, the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the American Medical Association, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology. He is on the medical staff of the Montgomery Surgery Center, Lansdale Hospital, and the Glaucoma Service at Wills Eye Hospital where he teaches residents and medical students. Dr. Schwartz is a surgeon in the Department of Glaucoma at Wills Eye Hospital. His special areas of interest are in the medical, laser, and surgical treatment of glaucoma.
