Scott J. Fudemberg, M.D.
After finishing his glaucoma fellowship at Wills Eye, Dr. Fudemberg joined the faculty and is currently an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Jefferson Medical College and the Wills Eye Institute. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and attended medical school at St. Louis University where he graduated with Distinction in Research. He served as an ophthalmology resident at the University of Kansas where he was appointed a co-chief resident and received the Alan W. Riley Award as resident of the year. He is currently a partner in the practice of Drs. Spaeth, Katz, Myers, Fudemberg, and Mantravadi.
Dr. Fudemberg has authored numerous publications in peer reviewed journals and textbooks and presented work at international meetings. He is an editor of the Yearbook of Ophthalmology’s glaucoma section and has served as a reviewer for major ophthalmology journals. He is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology.
