HRT and OCT's
Question: Can an OCT be done without dilating the pupil?

Answer:
If the pupil is naturally large, it can. Other patients require dilation to get the best results.

Question: The technician for my first HRT was clearly quite inexperienced. How accurate will the findings be?

Answer:
The indices that the computer calculates from the optic nerve image require that the technician outline the optic nerve head accurately on the computer. Two different technicians may plot the optic nerve differently.
