Dr. Spaeth’s Career Honored by Jefferson Medical College

Dr. George Spaeth was awarded Jefferson Medical College’s Career Educator Award at a ceremony at the Union League of Philadelphia on May 2, 2012. This award is granted to faculty members of Jefferson who have made outstanding contributions to education in academic medicine within their institution and to education in their field over their career. Dr. Spaeth certainly fits the bill, having worked tirelessly in his field since graduating from Harvard Medical School in 1959, and also having been a Professor at Jefferson Medical College since 1974.

Dr. Spaeth is the Director of Medical Research and Education here at the Glaucoma Service Foundation.
